In July 2018, under the guidance of the Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention of the National Health Commission, and the China Health Promotion Foundation organized and carried out the "Poverty Alleviation and Healthy Peer-Hepatitis Health Promotion and Prevention Project", until January 12, 2019, the first phase of the project Officially ended, 87 primary-level hepatitis prevention and control technology backbones were trained for poor areas in western China, 10 primary-level health promotion activities were held in 6 provinces and cities, and nearly 1,500 people were tested for hepatitis B surface antigen for free. It is reported that the "Poverty Alleviation and Health-Hepatitis Health Promotion and Prevention Project" (hereinafter referred to as the "Hepatitis Prevention and Control Project") aims to implement the national "Three Districts and Three States" health and poverty alleviation actions, and strive to improve the current situation of hepatitis prevention and control in the west. Solve the problem of poverty caused by illness and return to poverty due to illness, and help build a healthy China.

With the charity support of GSK China, the “Hepatitis Prevention and Control Project” is planned to take three years to launch in Xinjiang, Yunnan, Guangxi, Inner Mongolia, Tibet, Gansu, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Qinghai, Sichuan, Ningxia, and Guizhou. Less than 30 sessions of hepatitis prevention and treatment expert groups go to grassroots activities in the west to provide health promotion and technical support.
