Our newspaper, Beijing, February 23 (Reporter Qi Fang) The Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences recently released the first "Blue Book of Mental Health"-"Chinese National Mental Health Development Report (2017-2018)". Researcher Fu Xiaolan, Director of the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said that the Blue Book of Mental Health is based on a large-scale mental health survey in the last three years, which explores the current mental health status, development trends and influencing factors of different populations in my country, and further maintains and improves the national mental health status. Made some suggestions.

According to Chen Zhiyan, deputy editor of the report and professor of the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the blue book shows that most of the urban population in my country is in good mental health, and only a few people have different levels of mental health problems. From 2007 to 2008, the National Mental Health Status Research Group of the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences conducted a comprehensive survey on the mental health status of urban residents aged 10 to 100 in my country. The results showed that 11% to 15% of the urban population had better mental health status. Poor, may have mild to moderate psychological problems; 2% to 3% of people have poor mental health and may have moderate to severe psychological problems. The 2011-2012 National Important Psychological Characteristics Survey Project found that the overall mental health status of the people in the past 4 years has relatively little changed, but the mental health status of the rural population is generally worse than the mental health status of the urban or non-rural population.

The report also investigated the mental health characteristics and changing trends of different national groups. For example, a survey of adolescents and children shows that migrant children and left-behind children score higher in anxiety, depression and loneliness than ordinary children. "But there are also differences. The comparison found that left-behind children are more prone to anxiety and depression, while migrant children are more likely to have a sense of loneliness. This reminds us that we must establish a good parent-child relationship for left-behind children, so as to reduce the negative impact of parent-child separation on left-behind children. Impact; for migrant children, reducing discrimination against them and allowing them to go to public schools is more conducive to their mental health." said Liu Zhengkui, a researcher at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Chen Zhiyan introduced that the survey showed that Chinese people have a great demand for mental health, and the mental health services that our country can currently provide are very limited. Chen Zhiyan said that this reminds us that we should formulate and promote mental health literacy evaluation standards and specific tools as soon as possible, continue to monitor national mental health literacy, and gradually incorporate mental health skills training through vigorous support and strengthening of mental health science work in underdeveloped areas. Compulsory courses for colleges, middle schools, and elementary schools, encourage women, women, and community neighborhood committees to use mental health science education as a routine work and other methods to continuously improve the mental health literacy of our nationals.

Fu Xiaolan said that the current mental health work in my country is moving from rapid growth to an increasingly standardized new stage, and has gradually evolved from relying on Western research tools to integrating self-developed measurement tools to conduct targeted evaluation and measurement of the mental health of Chinese citizens. . She said: "A basic understanding of national mental health is an important basis for guiding mental health services. I hope that readers can better grasp the overall national mental health level, the changing trend of mental health status, and the mental health of different groups of people through this blue book. Health characteristics, group-level and individual-level mental health influencing factors, and the impact of mental health problems, etc., are also hoped that this blue book can provide an important reference for the relevant work of the country and the government."
